Production and Quotes

• We are a production machine shop and do not do prototype work or modify existing products.
• Our current shop rate is $125 per hour.

• Creating a quote is time consuming and requires thoughtful analysis.  It includes costs for:

  • Design

  • Programming

  • Machine set-up

  • Materials

  • Labor

• It is not uncommon for the initial design phase to cost upwards of $1000, even if it is "similar" to another part that we make.

• Minimum order quantities apply:

  • Twenty-five or more pieces is generally a reasonable starting number.

  • Up to a certain point, the greater the quantity the cheaper the price will be.

• Please request a quote only if you feel you have a viable product that it is worth the financial investment.

  • If we are unable to accommodate your production needs, it is not a reflection on the worthiness of your project.

• A dimensioned and toleranced .dfx or 3D CAD file.

  • We can create a drawing for you but it will add to the expense of your project.

• Desired production quantity

• Date that you need your product

  • Our lead time is generally six to eight weeks

• Provide written confirmation or email a purchase order to orders(at)paragonmachineworks.com

  • Quotes are valid for 30 days

  • We do not provide samples

  • We guarantee that the finished product will match the specifications of your drawing

  • We will re-make your product or refund your money (including your deposit) if there is a production error

• Payment of deposit:

  • A 50% credit card or Paypal non-refundable deposit is required prior to us ordering material and starting production

  • The balance  is due upon shipment/delivery/pick-up.
