Convert to 142 mm Spacing

Advantages

• Allows for more secure wheel mounting for use with disc brakes

• Creates a stiffer, stronger hub and frame assembly

Application

All our Sliding, Rocker, and PolyDrop dropouts can be converted from a 10 x 135 mm to a 12 x 142 mm hub

• It is not possible to convert to anything wider than a 142 mm hub

Important!

• Compatibility between components is only guaranteed when using parts made by Paragon Machine Works

• We cannot advise or make recommendations for parts made by other manufacturers

Step 1: Select Right Side Insert

• Choose a 12 mm right side insert based on the derailleur you will be using

Step 2: Select Skewer

• Choose a 142 x 12 mm skewer
• Combination Head and Spline Head skewer options are available from the Related Products shown at the bottom of the insert product pages

Step 3: Select Left Side Insert

• Choose a 12 mm left side insert based on the brake option you will be using
• Not all brake options are available for all inserts

Step 4: Replace Inserts

• Replace the old inserts with the new ones; this is a direct bolt-on replacement
