USEFUL INFORMATION
ISO Disc Mounts: The complete ISO specification for disc brake mounts requires at least a 6 mm thickness. This is a reasonable thickness for aluminum frames. In titanium or steel, this results in an overbuilt, heavy mount. Our mounts are 3/16", 5 mm, or ¼" (6.35 mm) thick, depending on our starting material and alloy. The thinner mounts may allow the mounting bolt to protrude from the inside face of the mount. If this results in interference, the bolt may need to be shortened, or a washer installed under the bolt head.
Hangers: Our short hanger's axle center to hanger center measurement is 1.040" (26.4 mm). It is generally used for road bikes, but is also good for rear cogs with up to 24 teeth. Our long hanger's axle center to hanger center measurement is 1.180" (30 mm). It is generally used for mountain bikes and for rear cogs with greater than 24 teeth. Source: Shimano Handbook
Please note: stainless steel CANNOT be brass brazed.
